How much will it cost my company?

The cost to you will vary based on several factors, including account volume, and insurance costs such as workers’ comp, and medical insurance. TempStaff is committed to providing highly qualified employees to your company at a competitive price.

What is the process for finding employees through TempStaff?

Our search and recruitment efforts begin immediately. TempStaff will discuss the details of the open position and your company culture and preferences with you so we send only the most qualified applicants. By clearly understanding your needs and the requirements of the position, we can select the best candidates.

You will be asked to complete a credit application and provide wage information as well as a job description for the position. We will provide a rate letter to you and provide information on our services and our policies.

How long will it take to have an employee in our company?
The time frame for successfully finding an employee will vary depending on our available employee base and your specific needs. We are committed to sending the most highly qualified applicants. You may choose to interview the most qualified applicants before making a decision, or we can fill a position based on the qualifications you provide.
How long can an employee work as a temp?
Temporary employee rules typically hinge on duties performed rather than a specific timeframe. Eligibility for benefits may accrue over time. While the Department of Labor defines temporary work as lasting no more than a year with a set end date, exceptions exist, notably in federal employment where the limit is two consecutive years. Outside of federal roles, there’s no formal time limit; however, temporary employees working over 1,000 hours annually may join the company’s retirement plan.
What kind of background checks do you provide?
Every applicant is reference checked based on the work history they provide. Our clients can request background check services, including criminal background checks, drug screens, identity checks, employment reference checks, education and credential verification, credit history checks, and motor vehicle reports. These checks can be coordinated through our office for a fee, or clients may choose to conduct them themselves through a third-party service provider.
What if I am not satisfied with an employee placed by TempStaff?
Not every job is a fit for every person. Sometimes that is not clear until the person is on the job. Our temporary-to-hire program provides an opportunity for you to see an employee in the work setting to determine if you want to hire them. If you are not satisfied with an employee, we can replace them. We also offer direct placement services and guarantees vary based on the contract for each client.

TempStaff is a full-service staffing and recruitment company. We handle positions in all areas of the administrative, industrial, and professional fields. By having a broad base of applicants, as well as various recruiting resources, we can meet your needs in most areas of your business.
Why should I use your service instead of filling the position on my own?

The temporary-to-hire program with TempStaff takes the hiring risk out of your hands. If you are not satisfied with an employee, we can replace them, and you have not made the investment of hiring them onto your payroll.

We cover workers’ compensation and unemployment costs as well as taking away the stress of recruiting and sorting through applicants for the ones who are qualified. TempStaff invests in our own employees by providing training and certification for all of our office staff. We can be a resource to you when questions arise about staffing and employment.
