In 2020, Emily embarked on a new venture as the owner of Sweet Southern Occasions, one of Mississippi’s leading wedding and event planning companies. Her entrepreneurial spirit and creativity have allowed her to create unforgettable experiences for her clients, solidifying her reputation as a top event planner in the state.
Emily’s dedication to her community is evident through her involvement in various organizations. Notably, she is a member of Executive Women International, where she serves as the Program Chair for 2023-2024. Additionally, she is actively engaged with the Rankin County Chamber, Greater Jackson Chamber, and several other community groups. Emily’s commitment to giving back extends to her volunteer work with organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the Rankin County Junior Auxiliary.
